36-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Brookhurst Street 

WESTMINSTER, CA (December 28, 2023) – Saturday morning, one man was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Bishop Place. 

First responders arrived to the scene just west of Brookhurst Street around 4:43 a.m.

According to reports, the driver of a vehicle struck a male pedestrian and immediately fled the scene. Medical personnel later pronounced the 36-year-old man from Garden Grove, dead at the scene.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.

Police are now searching for a small, dark-colored sedan, last seen driving westbound on Bishop Street at Belgrade. Those with additional information about the crash are encouraged to contact the Westminster Police Department Traffic Division at 714-548-3770.
