DUI Accident on Northwest Highway Resulted in Two Fatalities
DALLAS, TX (December 27, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, two people died in a three-vehicle crash on Walton Walker Boulevard.
The incident took place at Walton Walker Boulevard and Northwest Highway around 3:30 a.m., December 9th, involving three vehicles.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, they arrived in the northbound lanes where they found several people trapped. They immediately extricated the trapped occupants.
Unfortunately, two people died at the scene. Meanwhile, authorities transported the driver who caused the collision to Parkland Hospital in serious condition.
Furthermore, the driver will be charged with DUI upon release from the hospital. Authorities have yet to disclose the identities of the involved people.
Consequently, the authorities blocked the area while they conducted additional investigations. All lanes have been reopened since.
