Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Prospect Street
VISALIA, CA (December 21, 2023) – Monday evening, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Dinuba Boulevard.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:20 p.m., near Prospect Street.
Investigators determined that the driver of a northbound white Chevrolet struck a male pedestrian near the intersection. Upon impact, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Responding emergency personnel transported the pedestrian to Kaweah Health Medical Center where he died from his injuries. However, the identity of the deceased victim remains undisclosed to the public.
Following preliminary duties, police do not suspect drugs and alcohol to be a factor in the collision. Visalia Officials will provide more information about the crash once available.
