Female Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Fatal Collision near Crenshaw Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 20, 2023) – Sunday night, one woman was fatally struck in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Washington Boulevard.
The incident occurred around 11:50 p.m., at the intersection of Washington and Crenshaw Boulevard.
Per reports, the driver of a silver Subaru Impreza was heading west on Washington and struck the pedestrian. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the severely injured victim.
Medical responders transported the female pedestrian to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. At this time, her identity has not been disclosed to the public.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
