Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Accident near Everett Avenue
EVERETT, WA (December 20, 2023) – Early Saturday evening, one man was pronounced dead after a pedestrian collision on Everett Avenue.
First responders arrived at the 2400 block of Everett Avenue around 5:10 p.m., on December 9th.
The Everett Police Department received a report that an SUV struck a pedestrian for reasons currently unknown.
Upon arriving, the authorities located the pedestrian, a male in his 50s, lying on the roadway with no signs of life. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Furthermore, the driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers, an Everett Police Department spokesperson said.
Moreover, Hamel stated that the driver would not face any charges, and Everett Avenue between Rainier and Baker Avenues was blocked for three hours. Furthermore, the roadway has since been reopened to the public.
At this time, the identity of the victim was not yet disclosed, and the incident is still under investigation.
