One Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident near Hockett Peak Way
BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 18, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, one victim was pronounced dead after a motorcycle collision on Harris Road.
The fatal collision happened around 4:45 p.m., at the intersection of Harris Road and Hockett Peak Way.
According to the police, an eastbound motorcycle on Harris crashed into a vehicle turning left onto Hockett Peak.
Unfortunately, the first responders declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The Kern County Coroner’s Office will provide the victim’s identity once the next of kin has been notified.
The driver of the turning vehicle was unharmed and cooperated with the authorities.
