Anthony Rodriguez, Kimberly Perez Dead after Head-On Collision on US-82 [Baylor County, TX]
34-Year-Old Man and 31-Year-Old Woman Dies in Fatal Head-on Crash
BAYLOR COUNTY, TX (December 18, 2023) – On Monday evening, officers were called to a crash that killed Anthony Rodriguez and Kimberly Perez.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the incident happened around 6:20 p.m., December 3rd, in the area of US-82.
Investigation showed that a pickup truck driven by 28-year-old Tanner Wayne Gillispie headed eastbound when it veered over to the westbound lanes and collided head-on with the Toyota occupied by a couple, 34-year-old Rodriguez and 31-year-old Perez.
Furthermore, the collision resulted in the death of both Rodriguez and Perez. Gillispie suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and the paramedics transported him to Seymour Hospital.
At this time, it was unknown if charges were filed against Gillispie, and an active investigation is still ongoing.
