Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident on Kietzke Lane [Reno, NV]
Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision on Vassar Street
RENO, NV (December 12, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, one rider was pronounced dead after a motorcycle accident on Kietzke Lane.
Authorities responded to the scene around 4:30 p.m., near Vassar Street on December 6th.
At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that a vehicle and a motorcyclist collided in the area.
The Reno Police, Reno Fire, and REMSA, arrived and found the motorcyclist down on the ground in critical condition.
First responders transported the rider to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Police have not yet released his identity.
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Speed and impairment were not listed as a factor of the collision. Further investigation is being handled by the RPD Major Accident Investigation Team.
