Woman and Toddler Pedestrians Involved in Two-Vehicle Collision on Thunderbird Road
PHOENIX, AZ (December 12, 2023) – On Thursday at noon, police responded to the crash on Tatum Boulevard and Thunderbird Road.
The incident happened on December 7th just after noon involving an SUV, a pickup truck, and a woman with a child in a stroller.
Furthermore, the Phoenix Police troopers determined that the SUV and the pickup truck collided at the intersection, and the SUV rolled over to the sidewalk.
Moreover, the woman and the child on that sidewalk were struck by the SUV, causing critical injuries to the woman.
Consequently, the paramedics arrived and transported at least five people to the hospital. Paramedics stated that the woman was in a critical state, and the others suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, the officers have yet to release the collision factors. And an active investigation is still ongoing.
