Muckleroy & Falls Construction CEO, Two Children Killed in Three-Vehicle Accident near Johnson City
FORTH WORTH, TX (December 5, 2023) – Wednesday, Zach Muckleroy, Judson Muckleroy, and Lindsay Muckleroy died in a 3-vehicle accident.
Authorities responded to the scene around 6:40 p.m., on Highway 281 near Johnson City on November 22nd.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision involved a Toyota Tacoma pickup-truck, a Chevrolet SUV driven by Lauren Muckleroy, with her passengers, 44-year-old Zach, 12-year-old Judson, and 9-year-old Lindsay, and a Nissan Versa car.
Upon investigation, officers learned that the Toyota headed northbound, drove over to the southbound lanes, and collided head-on with the Chevy. In addition, the southbound Nissan also struck the Chevy, causing it to roll over.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, Zach, Judson, and Lindsay died at the scene. Furthermore, the driver of the Toyota was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Also, authorities transported Lauren to an Austin hospital with serious injuries, and authorities stated that she was the sole survivor of the Chevy occupants.
The Muckleroy & Falls Construction is saddened by the death of their CEO, Zach. At this time, it was unknown why the Toyota driver crossed lanes, and an active investigation is still ongoing.
