50-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after High-Speed Accident near 211th Street Court East
SPANAWAY, WA (December 5, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, Christopher Hall was killed in a stolen-car crash on State Route 7.
Authorities responded to the scene just before 3:00 p.m., near 211th Street Court East on November 26th.
Investigators say a 14-year-old boy was driving a stolen 2021 Kia Sportage in the No. 2 lane at high rates of speed. Meanwhile, 50-year-old Hall was making a U-turn across the lanes and collided with the Kia.
First responders transported the female passenger to St. Joseph Medical Center while the boy was taken to Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. Both suffered serious injuries.
In addition, medics pronounced Hall dead due to the extent of his condition.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, more details will be provided.
