Solo-Vehicle Accident near Shaw Avenues Kills 39-Year-Old Clovis Man
CLOVIS, CA (December 4, 2023) – Monday noon, a solo-vehicle crash on Highway 168 claimed the life of Silas Ruiz.
CHP officers responded to the incident in the area of Highway 168 and Shaw Avenue.
Upon arrival, the authorities learned that a driver lost control of their vehicle and went off-ramp.
Subsequently, the car crashed through a fence and rolled over before coming to a stop at an empty dirt lot.
Responding paramedics transported the driver to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
On Tuesday, the Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased driver as 39-year-old Silas Ruiz of Clovis.
At this time, Clovis Officials are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
