Minivan vs Skateboard Collision near Genesee Avenue Resulted in Serious Injuries
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 4, 2023) – Tuesday evening, a skateboard accident on Osler Street in Linda Vista left a skateboarder in serious condition.
The collision occurred around 7:17 p.m. at the 6900 block of Osler Street, just south side of Genesee Avenue.
According to the investigators, a skateboard going east on Osler failed to notice a green light at the intersection.
As a result, the skateboarder collided with a Chrysler Pacific traveling southbound on 2750 Genesee Avenue on a green light.
The impact of the crash sent the teen on the skateboard into a Nissan Altima stopped at a red turn arrow in the northbound lane.
Medical responders transported the 18-year-old teen on a skateboard to a hospital in critical condition. The 45-year-old man driving the Chrysler Pacifica and the 23-year-old man driving the Nissan Altima was unharmed.
At this time, the identities of the parties involved in the crash remain undisclosed to the public.
