Car Collision Near Benttree Drive Left Male Driver Dead
KILLEEN, TX (January 1, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, a two-vehicle collision on Rancier Avenue claimed the life of Christian Lamar Williams.
The fatal collision happened on November 7th, at around 5:32 p.m. at the intersection of East Rancier Avenue and Benttree Drive.
Based on the initial investigation, a black Chevrolet Traverse stopped and tried to turn left on E. Rancier Avenue.
Subsequently, the Traverse collided with a blue Nissan Altima going westbound in the inside lane of the roadway.
Responding emergency personnel transported both drivers of the vehicle to Baylor Scott and White Health for life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported a passenger from the Altima to the same hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
At around 7:25 p.m., one of the drivers, identified as Christian Lamar Williams, died at the hospital.
No further details regarding the fatal two-vehicle crash have been released to the public at this time. Killeen Officials will provide more information once available.
