Motorcyclist Dies in Motorcycle-Auto Collision near Huddleston Road
LEANDER, TX (November 30, 2023) – Police arrested Robert Corral following a deadly hit-and-run on US 183 North in Leander.
Authorities received reports of the collision around 2:16 p.m. at the 11300 block of N US 183, north of Huddleston Road.
According to the police, the blue Kia passenger car collided with a black motorcycle. However, the Kia driver did not pull over to render aid to the victim and fled the scene.
First responders declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Their identity has not been disclosed to the public, pending notification from the next of kin.
Witnesses at the site of the incident provided enough information to assist the officers in arresting the suspect.
29-year-old Robert Corral of Liberty Hill was eventually arrested and booked into Williamson County Jail. Corral is currently facing hit-and-run charges.
Leander Officials continue to investigate the fatal crash.
