56-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Collision near Floyd Avenue
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (November 30, 2023) – Monday evening, Huber Cruz-Mendoza was killed in a 3-car accident on Highway 180.
Authorities responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m., near Floyd Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers learned that the driver of a Toyota Rav4 failed to stop and rear-ended a Toyota Corolla that was coming to a stop. Upon impact, the Rav4 was pushed into a Ford F-550 pickup-truck.
Paramedics took the 47-year-old male driver of the Rav 4 to Community Regionanl Medical Center with major injuries. Meanwhile, medics pronounced a passenger inside the Toyota Rav4, 56-year-old Cruz-Mendoza deceased.
In addition, paramedics transported the driver of the Corolla to Clovis Community Hospital with minor injuries. At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is still currently underway.
