Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident on Lindell Road [Las Vegas, NV]
71-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Flamingo Road
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 29, 2023) – Sunday evening, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Lindell Road.
The crash happened at approximately 8:00 p.m., near the intersection of Flamingo and Lindell Road in Spring Valley.
Investigators say the driver of a sedan struck a man who was crossing south within a marked crosswalk. After this, an SUV traveling behind the sedan rear-ended the sedan, causing the SUV to run over the man.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced the 71-year-old male pedestrian dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
