Vehicle Crash near Dysart Road Resulted in One Injury

SURPRISE, AZ (November 22, 2023) – On Tuesday evening, police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Grand Avenue.

According to the Arizona DPS, the incident happened just before 6:00 p.m., November 7th, near Dysart Road, involving a vehicle and a semi-truck.

Furthermore, the authorities arrived at the scene and found the vehicle collided with the rear of the semi-truck. The vehicle sustained significant damages, and debris around the area was seen.

Moreover, the occupant of the vehicle was critically injured, and emergency responders immediately transported him to the hospital.

Crews were dispatched to the scene to clear out the debris around the area. Two lanes along the highway were blocked as they conducted clearing duties. Motorists were advised to avoid the area during the time of the crash.

At this time, it was unknown how the collision occurred, and an active investigation is currently ongoing.
