Jonathan Holland and Addison Shepard Killed in 3-Car Accident on Highway 79 [Rusk County, TX]
Two Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Crash near Henderson
RUSK COUNTY, TX (November 22, 2023) – Early Thursday evening, Jonathan Holland and Addison Shepard were killed in a crash on Highway 79.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m., near Henderson on November 2nd.
Per reports, 18-year-old Holland was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado with his passenger, 10-year-old Shepard.
Meanwhile, 36-year-old Brianne Nicole Shutter was driving a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The Chevy then slowed down to make a left turn when Shutter was unable to slow down in time.
As a result, the Jeep rear-ended the Chevy. Upon impact, the Chevy was pushed into the westbound lanes where it hit a 2018 Ram 2500 pickup-truck that was towing a trailer.
Medics arrived and pronounced Holland and Shepard dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported 36-year-old Shutter to Christus Mother Frances Hospital. In addition, Shutter’s passenger was transported to LSU Hospital for treatment.
