3 Dead after Pursuit Collision on Chelsea Street [El Paso, TX]
Three Pronounced Dead after Speeding Crash near Sunland Park Drive
EL PASO, TX (November 22, 2023) – Monday, three victims died while multiple sustained injuries in a pursuit collision on Chelsea Street.
Around 1:00 a.m., police responded to the scene Sunland Park Drive on October 30th.
Per reports, officers noticed a gray Mazda with a fake license plate driving in the area. Police then attempted to perform a traffic stop when the driver failed to comply, resulting in a chase.
The Mazda driver led authorities near the Chelsea Street exit where it lost control and struck a concrete barrier. Consequently, several occupants of the Mazda were ejected and they suffered serious injuries.
In addition, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, and six others were hospitalized. An update was released by the authorities and they confirmed the death of two other people. The identities of all victims was not yet released by the officials.
