21-Year-Old Bakersfield Woman Dies in Sedan Vs Tractor Collision near Burbank Street
BUTTONWILLOW, CA (November 13, 2023) – Early Monday morning, a two-vehicle collision involving a tractor on Rowlee Road took the life of Clarissa Nicole Mora.
The deadly collision happened around 6:58 p.m. on northbound Rowlee Road, near Burbank Street.
According to the report, a 2016 Nissan Sentra failed to stop on time and collided with the back of a John Deere tractor.
Unfortunately, the Sentra driver died at the scene after hitting the backhoe bucket of the tractor. Meanwhile, the tractor driver sustained minor injuries and declined medical transport.
On Wednesday, the Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased Nissan driver as 21-year-old Clarissa Nicole Mora of Bakersfield.
The California Highway Patrol does not suspect drugs and alcohol to be a factor in the collision. Anyone with additional information about the fatal crash can contact the CHP Buttonwillow office at 661-764-5580.
