47-Year-Old Male Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Being Struck by Vehicle

CARSON, CA (November 9, 2023) – Late Monday evening, police responded to a pedestrian accident that took the life of Paul Taylor.

The incident took place in the southbound lanes of Harbor (110) Freeway at Torrance Boulevard around 11:20 p.m., October 30th.

According to CHP Officer Sean Lough, 47-year-old Taylor attempted to cross mid-block along the freeway when he got struck by multiple vehicles.

Furthermore, the impact instantly killed Taylor and responding officials pronounced him dead.

Meanwhile, the authorities blocked all southbound lanes of the freeway for several hours to allow crews to clean up and conduct additional investigations.
