40-Year-Old Man Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash near Garnet Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 9, 2023) – Early Friday evening, one male rider was hospitalized after a motorcycle collision on Ingraham Street.
Police responded to reports of the incident around 5:05 p.m., at the 4600 block of Ingraham Street near Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach.
Officers say the rider of a 2023 Kawasaki R1 motorcycle struck the front driver-side of a 2020 Nissan Altima, driven by a 23-year-old woman. At the time, the Altima was turning left onto southbound Ingraham Street.
Upon impact, the rider was ejected from his motorcycle leaving him in critical condition. Paramedics transported the 40-year-old man to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The San Diego Police Department does not suspect drugs and alcohol to be a factor in the collision. Those with additional information are encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
