Fatal Collision on Roosevelt Avenue Involving One Woman

SAN ANTONIO, TX (November 7, 2023) – Thursday evening, a woman was killed after an illegal crossing crash on Loop 410 near Roosevelt Avenue.

The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on October 26th, along Loop 410 near Roosevelt Avenue.

According to the authorities, a silver SUV struck a woman when she attempted to illegally cross a busy highway. The driver stopped and stayed at the scene until responders arrived after reporting it.

Upon arrival, medics pronounced the woman dead at the scene due to the extent of her injuries.

Police questioned the driver, however, will not be facing any charges. Deputies closed off the area for almost three hours. However, the roadway has since been reopened.
