Truck vs. 18-Wheeler Vehicle Collision on Interstate 10 Resulted in One Fatality

TUCSON, AZ (November 8, 2023) – On Sunday afternoon, one passenger died following a head-on accident near Craycroft Road.

The incident happened along the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Craycroft Road just after 2:00 p.m., October 22nd.

Upon investigation, the officers learned that a pickup truck was traveling eastbound when the driver suddenly crossed the center median and went into the westbound lanes.

Furthermore, an 18-wheeler truck traveling along the westbound lanes collided head-on with the pickup truck.

Unfortunately, the crash resulted in the death of a passenger on the pickup truck. Moreover, the identity of the victim was not yet released.

Consequently, the authorities blocked the interstate for two hours before it was announced operable.
