One Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near Winterhaven Avenue 

SACRAMENTO, CA (November 8, 2023) – Monday evening, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Northgate Boulevard.

The incident occurred shortly before 9:00 p.m., near Winterhaven Avenue.

For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck a male pedestrian. Upon impact, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Paramedics arrived and transported the severely injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital where he later died. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.

Emergency crews closed down the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, further details will be provided.
