Three Hospitalized after Auto Collision near Slauson Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 2, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, a car accident on South Vermont Avenue sent at least three people to a hospital.
The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m., at the 5900 block of South Vermont Avenue, just north of Slauson Avenue.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered that a car collided with a one-story office of Armor Dentistry children’s dental office. Firefighters at the scene extricated three people from the wreckage, two of whom were a woman and a juvenile passenger of the vehicle.
Paramedics transported the two patients to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. Additionally, a person inside the dental office had medical complaints after the incident and was requested to be transported via ambulance.
Following preliminary duties, officers arrested the driver of the vehicle after attempting to flee the scene.
