Male Cyclist Pronounced Dead after Bicycle Accident near Barrett Road

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (November 1, 2023) – Sunday evening, one man was killed in a hit-and-run bicycle collision on Crosby Lynchburg Road.

Police responded to the scene around 11:05 p.m., at the 12800 block of Crosby Lynchburg Road near Barrett Road on October 29th.

Per reports, the driver of a dark-colored truck or van rear-ended a male bicyclist who was heading north. Upon impact, the bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries before medics pronounced him dead.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. In addition, the suspect remains at large.
