Several Injured in Fatal Auto Collision on East Riverpark Drive

SUGAR LAND, TX (November 1, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, one child was killed and multiple were hurt in a 2-car accident on Grand Parkway.

Authorities responded to the scene around 4:16 p.m., near East Riverpark Drive on October 22nd.

At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that two vehicles collided in the area.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one child dead. Meanwhile, crews took multiple others to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

Emergency crews shut down the surrounding area for a brief time during clearing operations. Following preliminary duties, officers believe one of the vehicles may have ran a red light, causing the collision.
