Male Passenger Killed in Solo-Vehicle Crash near Lakeview Avenue 

ANAHEIM, CA (October 31, 2023) – Friday evening, police arrested Shivam Patel after a fatal DUI accident on Santa Ana Canyon Road.

Police responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m., just east of Lakeview Avenue on October 20th.  

Per reports, the driver of a Lamborghini lost control and rolled over across the freeway. As a result, a male passenger in his 40s was ejected from the vehicle, leaving him with fatal injuries. However, his identity remains undisclosed to the public.

Meanwhile, emergency responders transported the driver to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The driver, 25-year-old Shivam Patel of Yorba Linda, was eventually arrested for felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter. 

No further details regarding the Santa Ana Canyon Road DUI crash have been released to the public at this time. Anaheim Officials will provide more information once available.
