86-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck by Van in Pedestrian Crash near Bell Road
PHOENIX, AZ (October 27, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, a deadly pedestrian collision claimed the life of Joseph Pavlics.
Around 1:30 p.m., police responded to the scene near Bell Road on October 19th.
According to reports, the driver of a van was entering the road from a private driveway and struck Pavlics. Upon impact, the driver of the van remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Medical personnel arrived shortly after and pronounced 86-year-old Pavlics dead at the scene.
Following preliminary duties, no charges against the van driver were filed and the crash is still under active investigation. Once available, further details will be provided.
