69-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Port Lane

AMARILLO, TX (October 26, 2023) – Saturday morning, Jonathan Mack Minium was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on Wolflin Avenue.

Authorities responded to the scene around 11:44 a.m., near Port Lane on September 30th.

Per reports, 78-year-old Dianna Wood was driving a black 2018 Dodge Journey west through the intersection and struck a male pedestrian. As per reports, the pedestrian was crossing the roadway diagonally in a south direction.

Paramedics arrived and took the man to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Investigators later identified the victim as 69-year-old Minium.

Meanwhile, Wood remained uninjured.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
