40-Year-Old Bicyclist Pronounced Dead after Bicycle Crash near Montelago Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (October 26, 2023) – Tuesday morning, police responded to a bicycle accident that claimed the life of Colby Greiner.
The incident occurred around 6:40 a.m., near Montelago Boulevard just north of Village Resort on October 17th.
Per reports, the driver of a commercial vehicle made a right turn with the right of way and struck Greiner who was heading east on a bicycle.
Paramedics arrived and transported 40-year-old Greiner to Sunrise Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officials. Following preliminary duties, speed or impairment was not suspected as a factor in the incident.
Additionally, a portion of the roadway was temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the street has since been reopened. Further investigations are still ongoing.
