41-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after DUI Collision near Sahara Avenue

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 25, 2023) – Saturday morning, Joshua Wood was killed and Alied Gonzalez-Nunez was arrested after a DUI crash.

Authorities responded to the scene just after 1:50 a.m., on South Nellis Boulevard south of East Sahara Avenue on October 6th.

Per reports, 46-year-old Gonzalez-Nunez was driving a 2010 International DuraStar box-truck north. The side mirror then hit a pedestrian who was standing in the left lane.

Paramedics arrived and took 41-year-old Wood to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Central Trauma where he succumbed to his injuries.

Officers later arrested Gonzalez-Nunez after showing signs of impairment, and booked him into the Clark Clark County Detention Center.
