1 Killed in Pedestrian Collision on Oak Springs Drive [Austin, TX]
One Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident on Airport Boulevard
AUSTIN, TX (October 25, 2023) – Thursday morning, one victim was killed in a pedestrian collision on Oak Springs Drive.
Authorities responded to the scene around 6:24 a.m., near Airport Boulevard on October 12th.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the area. First responders located the victim with significant injuries.
Medical personnel performed CPR before they were later pronounced dead.
Additionally, Oak Springs Drive and Airport Boulevard was shut down due to further investigations. Delays and heavy traffic are expected.
Officers have not released the identities of those involved. No further information is available at this time. However, an investigation is ongoing.
