Pedestrian Struck by Multiple Vehicles Left Dead in Hit-and-Run Incident
RENO, NV (October 24, 2023) – On Sunday evening, police responded to a fatal hit-and-run accident on East Second Street.
The incident happened on October 8th just before 8:30 p.m. when police received a report that a pedestrian was fatally struck by multiple vehicles in the area of East 2nd Street and Colony Road.
Furthermore, the authorities arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian with extreme injuries. They pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Upon investigation, the officers learned that the pedestrian was walking along an unmarked crosswalk when they got struck by multiple vehicles.
Unfortunately, none of the drivers remained at the scene to call for help. Witnesses around the area are the ones who called for the authorities.
Moreover, the police have not yet released the identity of the victim. Also, it was unknown how many vehicles struck the pedestrian.
