30-Year-Old Suspect Arrested after DUI Hit-and-Run Collision near South Shadow Crest Street

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 20, 2023) – Late Sunday morning, Ryan Nimmo was arrested after a DUI hit-and-run crash on East Warm Springs Road.

The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m., near South Shadow Crest Street on October 15th.

Per reports, 30-year-old Nimmo was driving a Chevrolet Silverado 2500 was heading west. Meanwhile, a 2017 Hyundai Elantra was heading north on Shadow Crest street.

For reasons unknown, the driver of the Chevrolet failed to obey a traffic signal and entered the intersection on a red light. The Chevy then struck the right side of the Hyundai.

Upon impact, Nimmo attempted to flee the scene before crashing into a palm tree. A witness then followed Nimmo and reported the incident to authorities.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the woman to UMC’s Trauma Unit with critical injuries.

Following preliminary duties, authorities determined that Nimmo was impaired. Police then took him into custody for DUI and hit-and-run charges.
