Chester Smith, Connie Smith Pronounced Dead after Car Collision on Highway 317 [Temple, TX]
Fatal Crash Left 90-Year-Old Man and 80-Year-Old Woman Dead on Little Mexico Road
TEMPLE, TX (October 21, 2023) – Thursday evening, a car collision on Highway 317 killed Chester Smith and Connie Smith.
The crash happened around 6:15 p.m. on September 28th, at the intersection of Highway 317 and Little Mexico Road.
According to the TPD, EMS responded to a major collision. They arrived and immediately took the victims to a local hospital. One car has three people on, and another has one.
Two of the passengers died after being hospitalized and being in critical condition. The victims were identified as Chester Smith, 90, and Connie Smith, 80. Another two individuals sustained minor injuries.
No further information was released on how the crash happened. However, an investigation is still underway.
