One Person Dead in Car Versus Pedestrian Crash Near Baxter Street 

THOUSAND OAKS, CA (October 18, 2023) – Sunday morning, a man was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on Kimber Drive. 

According to the report, the collision happened around 9:48 a.m. in the area of Kimber Dr. and Baxter Street in Thousand Oaks. 

County Sheriff’s officials claimed that a vehicle hit a man walking in the bicycle lanes. Tragically, the man suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Meanwhile, the female driver, identified only as a 16-year-old juvenile, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police. 

The identity of the deceased victim remains undisclosed to the public, pending notification from the next of kin. 

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for clean-up and preliminary duties.
