29-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Pedestrian Versus Vehicle Collision at Chamberlaine Way 

ADELANTO, CA (October 18, 2023) – Saturday evening, Darrin Lynch was hospitalized following a pedestrian collision along US Highway 395. 

The collision happened around 8:20 p.m. when a vehicle hit a man attempting to cross the highway at Chamberlaine Way. 

The involved driver pulled over and contacted 911 for immediate medical assistance. 

Medical responders transported 29-year-old Darrin Lynch to a hospital for treatment of significant injuries. 

At this time, it remains unclear why the pedestrian attempted to cross the highway and onto the moving traffic. Adelanto officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
