Drunk Driving Collision in the 15200 block Left 20-Year-Old Rider Suffer Major Injuries

CONVERSE, TX (October 16, 2023) – Wednesday late night, a motorcyclist sustained injuries after a DUI crash on Interstate 10.

The tragic incident happened around 11 p.m. on September 27th, in the 15200 block of I-10 West southbound, not far from the University of Texas at San Antonio and Loop 1604, on the city’s Northwest Side.

According to the authorities, a BMW hit a motorcyclist from the back. The impact is enough to throw the man off from his motorcycle.

Afterward, the paramedics transported the rider to a nearby hospital for further treatment and only described him as a 20-year-old man.

In addition, authorities detained the BMW driver and jailed him for assault while intoxicated.

Furthermore, the investigation is still underway. No further details have been provided.
