32-Year-Old Woman Died after Crashing into Trees Following a Police Chase near 51st Avenue
MARYSVILLE, WA (October 16, 2023) – Early Friday morning, a police pursuit started after Lacey Ische and others broke into a car.
According to the Marysville Police Department, a witness spotted two to three people trying to break into a car.
It happened at the 14500 block of 51st Avenue Northeast just after 2:00 a.m., October 6th.
Furthermore, the suspects escaped in a black Cadillac Escalade driven by a man with a passenger identified as 32-year-old Ische.
Consequently, Ische took over the steering wheel and drove directly into the path of a Snohomish County sheriff’s deputy, leading to a chase.
Moreover, the authorities chased Ische onto Interstate 5. She drove into multiple lanes causing her to lose control of the vehicle and slammed into several trees.
Ische was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with life-threatening injuries, where she succumbed to it and died.
Meanwhile, the Medical Examiner’s Office stated that Ische died due to blunt force injuries, her death was ruled as an accident.
