William Freeze Arrested after Multi-Vehicle Crash on State Route 28 [Wenatchee, WA]
Five-Vehicle Collision on SR-28 Resulted in Multiple Injuries
WENATCHEE, WA (October 13, 2023) – On Wednesday evening, police arrested William Freeze after a multi-vehicle collision on State Route 28.
The incident happened on September 27th just before 10:00 p.m. and involved a total of five vehicles.
According to the authorities, 42-year-old William Freeze headed eastbound on the highway when he failed to yield on a traffic control at a construction zone.
Furthermore, Freeze crashed into 46-year-old Miguel Valdovines from behind and caused a chain reaction with 37-year-old Trever Wood, 76-year-old Barb Asher, and 72-year-old Brenda Chambers.
Moreover, Freeze and Valdovines suffered injuries to an unknown extent. They were taken to the hospital by the paramedics.
Consequently, Freeze was determined to be impaired during that time and he was charged with DUI.
No other involved parties suffered injuries, and further investigation is ongoing.
