Two Injured following Big-Rig Collision near 67th Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ (October 12, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, two people were hospitalized after a rollover semi-truck accident on Interstate 10.

The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m., near 67th Avenue on October 4th.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a semi-truck with a cargo of cheese and a pickup truck was involved in the collision.

Furthermore, the semi-truck overturned and ended up on its side and the pickup truck obtained major damages.

Moreover, two people from the pickup truck suffered injuries and the paramedics transported them to the hospital. Although authorities have not yet released their identities or current condition at this time.

Also, there was diesel fuel spilled in the area, and crews made efforts to clear the area.

Meanwhile, the drivers were advised to be vigilant while driving in the area while the authorities blocked the roadway. An active investigation is still ongoing.
