TULARE, CA (October 11, 2023) – Wednesday night, Trinidad Rosas was fatally struck in a train accident on Olson Avenue.
Officials received reports of the collision around 10:30 p.m. on Olson Avenue and K Street in Tulare County, per initial reports.
According to a police statement, the reasons as to why the woman was in front of the train remain unknown.
The first responders declared the woman dead at the scene. Additionally, officers claimed that there were no signs of foul play at the site of the incident.
Later, the Tulare County Coroner’s office identified the deceased woman as 34-year-old Trinidad Rosas. Rosas was believed to be a resident of Visalia or Tulare.
Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup.
