Pedestrian Dead after Car Crash on Interstate 35 [Round Rock, TX]
Auto-Pedestrian Collision Killed One Individual Near the Old Settlers Boulevard
ROUND ROCK, TX (October 11, 2023) – Saturday early morning a pedestrian died in a car crash on Interstate 35.
The accident happened at 3:00 a.m. on September 23rd, on I-35 northbound near the Old Settlers Boulevard exit.
According to the police, they responded to a report of a vehicle hitting the pedestrian.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Police decided to block off all northbound lanes of Interstate 35 for four hours while they investigated. However, all lanes were later reopened to the public.
No other information has been released about the fatal car crash at this time.
The driver remained on the site and is participating in the investigation. No other details were released as the events leading up to the crash are still not known. An active investigation is still currently underway.
