One Critically Injured after Stolen Vehicle Crashes into Multiple Cars on South Jones Boulevard

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 11, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, an accident on West Tropicana Avenue left several people with injuries.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the incident happened on September 30th at approximately 4:00 a.m. involving four vehicles.

Furthermore, the LVMPD determined that the vehicles involved were a stolen silver Hyundai, a Toyota Corolla, a Cadillac CTS, and a red Chevrolet Trax.

Investigation showed that the stolen Hyundai ran over a red light at high speeds on West Tropicana Avenue and collided with the Chevy.

Moreover, the Chevy struck the Toyota, and the impact sent the Toyota into the path of the Cadillac. As a result, two passengers of the Honda suffered life-threatening injuries, the female driver of the Chevy sustained extreme wounds, and two occupants of the Toyota obtained minor wounds.

Consequently, the paramedics transported all injured occupants to University Medical Center, where the Chevy driver remained in critical condition.

Meanwhile, an unknown man assisted the Honda driver to get out of the vehicle just before the authorities arrived.

The authorities have yet to release additional information and the LVMPD’s Collision Investigation Section took over the investigation.
