Two-Vehicle Collision near Gardendale Street Kills L.A. County DA Investigator and His Wife
DOWNEY, CA (October 11, 2023) – Sunday, Emilio Guerrero and Annabel Guerrero, were killed in a 2-car accident on Paramount Boulevard.
The incident occurred around 2:05 p.m., near Gardendale Street.
For reasons under investigation, the 60-year-old male driver of a vehicle collided with another car. Medics arrived and pronounced two occupants inside the second vehicle dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics took the 60-year-old male driver from South Gate to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Police later identified the two deceased victims as 52-year-old Emilio Guerrero and 47-year-old Annabel Guerrero. Emilio was a Sergeant with the Los Angeles County Bureau of Investigation. His wife Annabel was a local teacher for the Downey Unified School District.
