Two Fatally Struck in Fiery Auto Accident on Westwind Road

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 11, 2023) – Late Saturday evening, two people were pronounced dead after a fiery car accident on Charleston Boulevard.

Authorities responded to the scene around 11:20 p.m., near Westwind Road on September 30th.

Per reports, the driver of a 2006 Chrysler 300 was speeding east and attempted to overtake another vehicle. The driver then lost control and veered off the road before striking a streetlamp post.

The vehicle then continued traveling east before slamming into two parked vehicles near Tap House Bar. Upon impact, the Chrysler bursted into flames, trapping the driver and passenger inside.

Medics arrived and extricated both occupants from the Chrysler. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, crews later pronounced the 18-year-old driver and 60-year-old passenger dead.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
