34-Year-Old Rider Critically after Vehicle Collision near Cameron Street

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 10, 2023) – On Tuesday evening, multiple people were injured following a crash near Flamingo Road and Cameron Street.

It happened just before 9:50 p.m., October 3rd, involving a BMW 1000RR motorcycle and a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV.

According to the LVMPD, the motorcycle was driven by a 34-year-old man with a 23-year-old passenger, and the Chevy was occupied by two people.

Upon investigation, the LVMPD stated that the rider was driving recklessly and at high speeds westbound on Flamingo Road when he slammed into the Chevy headed east, and made a left turn at Arville Street.

Furthermore, the paramedics transported the motorcyclist and his passenger to the UMC Trauma Unit with severe and critical injuries. The officers identified one of them as not wearing a helmet during that time.

Meanwhile, the paramedics also transported the female driver of the Chevy who sustained minor injuries.

Moreover, the authorities evaluated the driver and she showed no signs of being impaired. Further investigation is still active.
